ASA have been involved in major Manufacturing and production facilities throughout the UK and Globally. In production facilities, ASA work with their Clients to deliver a process of converting inputs into outputs through various operations. ASA’s knowledge of material properties and storage environments is crucial. In Manufacturing, our Clients procures the raw material from outside sources and then makes the final product. ASA work with their Client during these early stages to review delivery options, storage of raw materials and the necessary temperature regimes, consider and advise on converting the raw material into the finished product by using various processes, machines and energy solutions.
Health and safety legislation, best practice and efficient ways of working are key to any Manufacturing and production projects. ASA have built up a vast knowledge of expertise that ensures flexible and expandable solutions for the production lines are provided for the Client. These include economic value engineered roof and slab designs for initial and future loadings, slab recesses and pits plus energy requirements located in the most efficient locations all future proofed to minimise disruption to productivity in the future.
ASA’s Clients have included major international 3PL’s who’s customers have demanded consistency of operations throughout their International operations. ASA have been able to work with them to advise and delivery Manufacturing & Production projects that satisfy both Local and International Codes by producing Design Standards and General arrangement templates for the local in-country design Team to implement. ASA’s overseas expertise in 29 countries has enabled the Client to expand their role to a watching brief during the Construction process working with the Local delivery Team to ensure the correct interpretation and implementation of the Clients requirements are met.
